Amélie Abrantes was in charge of scientific projects at the ANR from 2012 to 2016 and is now Head of the Strategic Project Engineering Department at the University of Bordeaux.

Bernard Ludwig was in charge of scientific projects for the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) Department, and then Head of the ANR’s Franco-German FRAL programme from 2012 to 2020. He is now an Attaché for University Cooperation at the French Embassy in Germany.

An overview of our other activities:

Scientific Events Officer: is responsible for all organisational aspects of national and international scientific events (panel meetings; kick-off, monitoring and review meetings; symposiums; seminars; etc.).

Lawyer: advises decision-makers by explaining options, securing the institution’s interests, and ensures the compliance with applicable procedures. (S)he analyses and checks legal documents in accordance with applicable law, and drafts legal standards.

European Project Officer: ensures the administrative and financial follow-up of European projects in which the Agency is involved (such as ERA-Net, Coordination and Support Action, European Joint Program).
