ANR launches in collaboration with NSF and NIH (USA), BMBF (Germany) and BSF (Israel) a call for research and data sharing projects in computational neuroscience.

This call concerns an opening of the NSF program “Collaborative Research in Computational Neuroscience » (CRCNS) as detailed in the document “Solicitation 18-501”.

This program emphasizes innovative research and resources, encouraging the application and development of state-of-the-art computational methods by theorists, computational scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and statisticians to tackle dynamic and complex neuroscience problems. It also emphasizes data and software sharing.

Binational as well as multinational projects can be submitted. The consortium must comprise at least one French partner and one American partner and can additionally include German and/or Israeli partners.

The proposals will be evaluated according to NSF evaluation procedures in association with ANR and the other partner agencies of the programme.

Each agency funds the partners in the respective country, according to its own national rules.
