Personalised Medicine : an international Action Plan published

Personalised medicine is an innovative method to treat patients that uses research, data and cutting-edge technology in providing better diagnostics and follow-up. It facilitates more personalised health interventions for citizens and offers tailored therapies and treatments for patients. The full potential of personalised medicine cannot be achieved due to several barriers and challenges. To boost personalised medicine, the International Consortium of Personalized Medicine (ICPerMed) has recently published a consensus view on the research and development needed in order to further advance personalised medicine.

Preliminary Announcement: an international call in Nanomedicine to be open soon

The French National Research Agency, in partnership with 18 countries is set to launch a 8th joint transnational call for proposals through the ERA-NET EuroNanoMed (ENM) on Nanomedicine. The call is likely to open on November 14th.

PRCI: visit in Taiwan of one of the first ANR’s collaborations outside Europe

On the occasion of his trip to Asia, the French National Research Agency’s CEO and President Michaël Matlosz is in Taiwan to meet his counterparts of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). ANR and MOST is one of the oldest bilateral collaborations of the Generic Call for Proposals (International Collaborative Research Project – PRCI).

Preliminary announcement: Call for Franco-American Projects PIRE Slated for Late July

ANR has joined up with the American National Science Foundation (NSF) to fund French teams jointly selected by France and the US under the NSF’s Partnerships for International Research and Education (PIRE) call for proposals. ANR plans to launch a call for proposals dedicated to said collaboration in July.
