Open science: the ANR's feedback to the online consultation on the Plan S implementation guidance

The French National Research Agency (ANR) has submitted its contribution to the online consultation on the Plan S implementation guidance launched in late November 2018 by the cOAlition S. The purpose of the consultation was to clarify and identify any omissions from the guide, which specifies how Plan S should be implemented to achieve a more transparent, effective and fair model of academic publication.

Appointment of the new ANR Scientific Advisory Panel chaired by Pierre Corvol

The Scientific Advisory Panel of the French National Research Agency (ANR) was reappointed on Thursday 31 January 2019. Pierre Corvol was named as the chair of this new Scientific Advisory Panel, which includes external contributors as well as the heads of the Agency's scientific departments.

Pre-announcement: an international joint call on the effects of food on Body Weight Regulation and Overweight Related Metabolic Diseases

The French National Research Agency (ANR) will launch its third international call in the domain of nutrition and health within the framework of the HDHL-INTIMIC ERA-NET. The joint call includes 11 funding agencies from 10 different countries. The call will be launched on the 5th of February 2019. Applicants have to submit their pre-proposals before the 2nd of April 2019, 16h (UTC).

Pre-announcement: Joint Transnational Call on Next Generation Climate Science in Europe for Oceans

The French National Research Agency (ANR), in partnership with 6 European funding agencies, will launch a joint call for proposals through a collaboration between the Joint Programming Initiatives (JPIs) Climate and Oceans, on the Next Generation of Climate Science in Europe for Oceans. The opening is scheduled for February 2019.

Call for Applications for the Excellent Paper in Cardiovascular Research Award 2019

The ERA-CVD partner countries are issuing the second Excellent Paper in Cardiovascular research Award (EPCA) to recognize the most remarkable and outstanding scientific publications by young researchers in the field of cardiovascular research. First authors of candidate publications published between January 1st, 2018 and December 31st, 2018 from CVD partner countries are eligible to apply.
