Résumé du projet

The main Labex GR-Ex (GR-Ex) objectives are to promote outstanding research and foster therapeutic innovation in the field of red blood cells disorders. The GR-Ex also revitalizes current partners with both its recruitment program of graduate students and post-doctorates and its junction fellowships, allocated to highly motivated researchers that wish to pursue a scientific career in France. Additionally, the GR-Ex aims to promote the transfer of technologies and nurture collaborations with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Main achievements in 2016 The GR-Ex clinical protocol sponsored by the Imagine Institute has been approved by the regulatory agencies early 2017. This major achievement will allow all GR-Ex partners to use the protocole for their translational research. Additionally, we are developing a database associated with the protocole and a partnership with the CRB Necker to store biological samples. Five projetcs are already in the pipeline and we are currently recruiting a clinical research coordinator to manage the project. The implementation of the nationwide common database for Sickle Cell Disease pediatric center is still ongoing and should be finalized this year (2017). The Paris Descartes University approved the offering of Epiconcept to create a database for the 4 major pediatric centers in France according to the public market laws.
